Contest Rules and Description
Part I
Starting today, Monday March 29th, 2010, you can enter to win our very first location game based Foursquare/Gowalla contest by checking into Samuel Gordon Jewelers using Gowalla or foursquare on your mobile device. Tweet it or Facebook it once. That’s it.
A winner will be picked at random from each one. One winner from Gowalla and One winner from Foursquare will receive a $1000 Gift Credit Each. In Store Use Only. No Purchase Necessary. Non-transferrable. Non-refundable. No Cash Value. Must be 18 to enter .
Part II
Now here’s where it gets fun. The person with the most total checkins at Samuel Gordon Jewelers Wins a $500 Gift Card as well.
Here’s how it works…
We will count the total checkins on both services and compare them to see who’s is a higher number. That’s the Foursqaure versus Gowalla aspect.
The most amount of Checkins on one of the two, whichever is higher wins. One winner, most check ins, foursqaure versus gowalla.
Please note: If there is a multi-way tie or anything of that nature , the winnings will be divided accordingly by number of people that equally tie whichever service wins this portion of the contest.
Start time. Today, Monday 29th runs through and up until the close of our business hours (which is 6PM CT) onThursday, April 15th, 2010. Winners announced within or less than one week of contest end.
In Conclusion…
Good Luck and we hope you enjoy the contest. We do know that check-ins can be done off premise and we do not have any control over that, but we love to see new faces and existing friends of SGJ, so please stop in physically if you possibly can. Not required but just a friendly request. 
IMPORTANT: Also, this is an experimental contest, so please take in consideration things like if your account is private, or if your tweet or facebook post is not searchable for us to calculate results. Gowalla and foursquare are developing more everyday, but we must rely on external sources such as them and Facebook and Twitter to get final results. Samuel Gordon Jewelers will determine the winner and have final decision based on the data we have available to us at the time. In other words we’ll make it as fair as humanly possibly. So please be aware of this and enter the contest only if you enter understand this 100%.
Also, please note that if you do not have access to enter by these methods, just to be fair for everyone, we will take in store entry card fill outs. Please stop by and either leave your business card or a written out contact name & info and leave it at the front guard station.
